Part No: BIX029
Automatic gas pressure adjustment valve.
Price: £ 55.00p

The gas pressure adjustment valve automatically regulates the height of the flame relevant to the boiler pressure.

Running the engine slowly, the boiler pressure does not rise and a constantly small burner flame is maintained.

The gas pressure adjustment valve can be used for all gas heated steam engines.

To set the cutting-in point for low boiler pressure:
When the pressure gauge shows 15 - 20 p.s.i., turn the lever clockwise into the valve until the flame gets smaller.

To set the cutting-in point for higher boiler pressure:
Turn the lever anticlockwise away from the valve. DO NOT tighten the lever into the valve too far as the special membrane will be damaged.  The special membrane can be replaced.

Please note: Pipe-work not supplied with the valve.
