D18 Stationary Engine
The water-blue base plate has been combined with a black boiler housing and silver-coloured engine plate. The flywheel is painted black. The technology of this engine represents a combination of types D 20 and D 16, enhanced by a number of technical refinements. The brass boiler, highly polished and nickel plated, has a capacity of 500 cm³. The condensed water
is fed to a tank hidden behind the boiler house, causing the chimney to smoke realistically. The engine plate has now been additionally fitted with a dynamo to supply the streetlight at the rear, between the boiler and engine, with current. The street light is modelled on an industrial street light from the turn of the century and shines on the flywheel during operation. Water
drainage cock, spring safety valve, steam whistle with chain, handwheel shut-off valve for steam, steam jet oiler, attractive piston rods of galvanized die cast metal.
Height, including smoke stack, 320 mm.
Base dimensions: 350 x 290 mm.
