Wilesco D409 Showmans' Engine

A fully working live steam engine from the range of WILESCO Hobby Technic. This technically perfect model has been painted in matching colours. A chemically black painted brass boiler, diameter 45 mm, length 185 mm, boiler volume 230 cm³ with water gauge glass. Powerful, double action reversible cylinder. Flywheel with a diameter of 80 mm.
The Showman's engine can be run in forward or reverse depending on the movement of the flywheel. Spring loaded safety valve, steam regulator, steam whistle, steam jet oiler and footbridge, traditional chain steering. A clutch engaged gear wheel permits the use of the engine and the operation of the dynamo either stationary or driving.

The dynamo illuminates the eight diodes mounted around the canopy of the engine. The condensed water of this engine is collected below the smoke stack. Operating time about 15 minutes per fuel charge. All single parts are manufactured from finely painted metal.
