The American Porter Company were one of the major
manufacturers of steam locomotives, specialising in narrow gauge and small
Standard gauge industrial steam , engines. "LI'L JO" is based on the
locomotive supplied to the Catherine Plantation Sugar Cane Railroad of
Louisiana, U.S.A. in 1907. |

The model features a bar frame
chassis with inside valve gear, timber cab, sand dome and bell, headlamp,
pin and bar couplings and a choice of chimneys. A pilot (cow catcher) can be
fitted as an option. |

This locomotive is also available
either as an 0-4-2 with tank or 2-4-0 with tender. Other variations can be
bullt to special order, including 0-4-4 Forney, 2-4-2 Lynton &
Bamstaple Railways "LYN" & 0-4-0 Camel back or Saddle tank, 2-6-0 Tender,
2-6-2 and 2-4-4 Tank engines. |
